MAC EYESHADOW PALETTE REVIEWS MAC
I have to say it’s been a long time since I got excited about a MAC Eyeshadow Palette due to reasons like this. Knight Divine, a dark gray, was one of the few shades that had a nice velvety texture. Color pigmentation was great when built up but the drier texture on a majority of these shades meant that blending was very patchy. Out of the five shades I thought only one had a nice formula. The drier texture of the palette makes application difficult. It’s also a shade that tends to age eyes and accentuates dark circles, finer lines, etc…! Don’t get me wrong, people can rock blue eyeshadow all day long perfectly but there’s also a lot of folks that can’t. Blue is already a tough one to blend out to perfection whether you’re a makeup newbie or old hat at application. It’s actually not a palette I’d personally recommend for a number of reasons one of which is it’s difficult to pull off looks with this palette due to the formula. This is a blue based palette with a range of shades that can be used a smoky eye look as you get some harder blues but also some grays as well to mix things up for a more smokier eye look. The MAC Toledo Moodyblu Eyeshadow Palette comes in a slim metal case and contains six MAC eyeshadows as well as a mirror. MAC Moodyblu Eyeshadow Palette ($44) is one of three limited edition eyeshadow palettes that launched with the MAC Toledo Makeup Collection for Spring 2015!
